Restylane Refyne
in Pensacola, FL

What is Refyne?

Refyne is an injectable dermal filler within the Restylane family of injectables. This filler uses specially cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel to create volume underneath the skin of the nasolabial area to fill in laugh lines and folds. This unique cross-linking technology allows the gel to last longer and allow for natural movements like smiling or chewing. Hyaluronic acid is a substance found in the skin that is responsible for retaining moisture and elasticity. When injected under the skin in gel form, it can restore volume and be naturally absorbed by the body over time.

I was so happy with my experience and outcome as well. Dr. Shaddix has a calming manner (which I really needed), is so professional and really listened to what I wanted and the result is amazing and natural looking - very proportionate to my body just as I had hoped. I highly recommend him”

Your Customized Refyne Consultation

There are many injectables available on the market, and it can be difficult to determine which one is best for you. During a consultation with Dr. Shaddix, he can get an idea of your aesthetic goals and professionally recommend the best injectable options for you, which can be used in tandem with skin or surgical options. It’s important to ask any questions you may have during this time so that Dr. Shaddix can ensure that you know what to expect.

The Procedure

Dr. Shaddix begins injectable treatments with the use of a topical anesthetic to ensure that you’re comfortable. He then uses a very small needle to gradually inject the crystal-clear gel underneath the skin in specific locations. This can require multiple, small injections to make sure the results appear natural and satisfactory— Dr. Shaddix will also ensure you know how much product will be required during your consultation. Overall, injectable treatments take from fifteen to thirty minutes, depending on how extensive your aesthetic goals are.

Recovery After Refyne Treatment

As with most injectable treatments, you can expect some bruising or swelling afterward, which usually subsides within the day. If you experience any discomfort, you can usually manage it with an ice pack. Refyne generally lasts for up to one year, after which you can repeat the treatment as needed or look at other long-term options.
